I’ve been waxing since 2005. Twenty-one years of hands that know how much pressure a treatment needs, and how little fuss. Brows, legs, underarms, Brazilians, facials. I’ve done all of it, thousands of times.

My salon is one room at the front of my own home in Rochedale South, a short drive from Underwood, Springwood and Daisy Hill. There’s no reception desk, no waiting area and nobody else in the building. Just you and me, with the door shut. It’s why appointments are essential, and why plenty of my clients have been coming for a decade or more.

Text me on 0451 105 770. It’s the only way to book. I don’t take booking calls any more: the spam calls got out of hand, so the phone stays on silent and a text is what reaches me. There’s no online booking either. The studio is appointment only, so every visit is arranged in advance and you’ll never share the room, or the wait, with anyone else.
I’m open Monday to Saturday, 7am to 9pm, and closed Sunday. That means early morning waxing appointments before work, evening appointments after it, and Saturdays most weeks. Text me the rough time you’re after and I’ll tell you what’s free.
Yes. I wax women only, one client at a time, in a private room at my own home in Rochedale South. If you want a women-only space for privacy, modesty or religious reasons, that’s exactly what this is. If you’d like to bring someone with you, just mention it when you book.
I’ll talk you through the whole thing before we start. You’re covered the rest of the time, you set the pace, and you can tell me to stop at any point. It takes about half an hour to 45 minutes. Most first-timers tell me afterwards it was less of a big deal than they’d built it up to be.
The first few seconds are the worst of it, and it gets easier every time you come. The hair grows back finer and your skin gets used to it. I work in small sections and use hot wax on the sensitive areas, which grips the hair rather than the skin. Book for the week after your period if you can, and go easy on the coffee that morning.
About 5mm, roughly two to three weeks of growth. Longer is fine, I’ll trim it before I start. Don’t shave in between appointments: shaving blunts the tip so the wax has less to grip, and you end up back on a two-day cycle. Waxing keeps you smooth for three to four weeks.
For most of my clients, yes. Shaving cuts the hair off at the surface, so you’re back to stubble in a day or two. Waxing takes it out from the root and keeps you smooth for three to four weeks. The regrowth comes back finer each time, and shaving in between appointments is the quickest way back to ingrown hairs.
Yes. Most of my clients come to me because their skin didn’t cope somewhere else. I use gentle hard and strip wax, and only the highest, best quality wax I can buy. It’s the one thing I won’t cut corners on.
Towards the end of your period is preferred, and that’s what I’d recommend. A light period is fine as long as you’re wearing a tampon. Let me know when you arrive. It’s completely normal and nobody here is fussed. You may be a bit more sensitive than usual, so if you’d rather move the appointment, a text is all it takes.
Exfoliate gently twice a week from about three days after your appointment, and keep the skin moisturised. Skip spray tans and swimming for 24 hours, and wear something loose on the day, not anything tight. Don’t shave in between appointments either; it’s the quickest way back to ingrowns. If ingrowns are a regular problem for you, tell me and I’ll change how I work that area.
Depends on your skin on the day. LED light therapy is what I use for congested, acne-prone skin. Red light therapy suits dry and dehydrated skin and fine lines. Either way the appointment starts with me actually looking at your skin. What you need in a Brisbane summer isn’t what you need in July. Most people come back every four to six weeks.
The studio is at 7 Donna Ave, Rochedale South QLD 4123, in Logan City on the Brisbane southside border, with off-street parking on my driveway. Most of my clients drive over from Underwood, Springwood, Priestdale, Daisy Hill, Shailer Park, Kuraby, Runcorn and Eight Mile Plains.
Cash or PayID on the day. That’s all I take. No deposit, and nothing to pay when you book. If plans change, a text 24 hours ahead is all I need to move you to another time.
Yes. 5% off your first booking with me. It comes off the total, not off one treatment, so if you book a few things in the one appointment (brows, legs and a facial) the 5% is taken off what the whole appointment comes to. Mention it when you text and I’ll work it out for you on the day.
